Soldier from Champawat, Uttarakhand martyred at the border

According to reports, Agniveer Deepak Singh, a 23-year-old soldier from Uttarakhand’s Champawat district and a member of the 18 Kumaon Regiment, was martyred while on duty near the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Following the news of his martyrdom, grief engulfed his native village, wave of sorrow spread across the region.
