Solar lights being installed in Tehri villages for protection from wild animals

According to reports, the administration has started installing solar lights in rural areas of Tehri district in Uttarakhand amid rising movement of wild animals. It is reported that the lights are being set up at key village spots, along roads, and near temples to improve night-time safety and reduce human–wildlife conflict incidents.
