On Tuesday, President Droupadi Murmu conferred the Padma Shri award at the Rashtrapati Bhavan to Uttarakhand social worker Radha Bhatt for her contributions to social work. Additionally, Hugh and his late wife Colleen Gantzer were posthumously honored with the Padma Shri for their contributions to travel writing in Uttarakhand.
