यमुनोत्री और गंगोत्री की ऊंची चोटियों पर शुक्रवार रात से हिमपात जारी है। इसके चलते ऊंचे इलाकों में ठंड बढ़ गई है। शनिवार को यमुनोत्री में खनेड़ा के पास चट्टान के दरकने से मार्ग अवरूद्ध हो गया है। जेसीबी और अन्य मशाीनों के जरिए मार्ग को किसी तरह खोलने में सफलता हासिल की है। मार्ग पर खतरा लगातार बना हुआ है।
