Snowfall and rain increase cold in Uttarakhand

The weather in state has turned colder. Badrinath, Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib have received up to one foot of snow, while Gangotri and Yamunotri have witnessed the season’s first snowfall. According to the IMD, light to moderate rainfall and a further drop in temperature are likely in the state’s hilly areas over the next 2 to 3 days.
