चकराता और पुरोला टोंस वन प्रभाग में हरे पेड़ काटने के मामले में वन मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने एसआईटी जांच के आदेश दे दिए हैं। इसके साथ ही नैनीताल जिले के लालकुआं में वन विकास निगम में लकड़ी की नीलामी में हेर-फेर मामले में भी एसआईटी जांच होगी। बता दें कि अवैध पेड़ कटान मामले में वन निगम के नौ से ज्यादा अधिकारी-कर्मचारियों को सस्पेंड किया गया है।
