जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तराखंड में आगामी विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण के लिए तैयारियां शुरू हो चुकी हैं, जिसको देखते हुए मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने मान्यता प्राप्त राष्ट्रीय राजनीतिक दलों के साथ बैठक में विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण (एसआईआर) के तहत 31 दिसंबर तक सभी बूथों पर शत-प्रतिशत बूथ लेवल एजेंट्स (बीएलए) की नियुक्ति सुनिश्चित करने पर जोर दिया।
