बीते दिन श्री अशोक कुमार आईपीएस, डीजीपी महोदय ने माननीय विधायक श्री प्रीतम सिंह पंवार, जिलाधिकारी टिहरी गढ़वाल, डीआईजी गढ़वाल परिक्षेत्र, एसएसपी देहरादून व सेनानायक एसडीआरएफ के साथ कुमाल्डा, सरखेत, मालदेवता व उसके आस-पास आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों को स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने स्थानीय पुलिस और एसडीआरएफ के रेस्क्यू और रिलीफ कार्यों का अवलोकन कर आपदा में किए जा रहे रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन जारी रखने के निर्देश दिए।

On the previous day, Shri Ashok Kumar IPS, DGP, along with MLA Shri Pritam Singh Panwar, District Magistrate Tehri Garhwal, DIG Garhwal Zone, SSP Dehradun, and General SDRF, along with Kumalda, Sarkhet, Maldevta, and its surroundings carried out an on-site inspection of disaster affected areas. During this, he instructed to continue the rescue operation being done in the disaster after observing the rescue and relief works of the local police and SDRF.
