देहरादून के दून अस्पताल में विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों की कमी से मरीजों को परेशानी हो रही है। सर्जरी, प्लास्टिक सर्जरी और टीबी चेस्ट विभाग में लंबे समय से पद खाली हैं। उपचिकित्सा अधीक्षक डॉ0 एन. एस. बिष्ट ने बताया कि कैबिनेट से मंजूरी मिल चुकी है और शासनादेश जारी होते ही कॉन्ट्रैक्ट व आउटसोर्स भर्ती प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी जाएगी।
