जानकारी के अनुसार, छत्तीसगढ़ के सुकमा में नक्सल विरोधी अभियानों के बीच 26 माओवादियों/नक्सलियों ने सुरक्षा बलों के सामने एक साथ आत्मसमर्पण किया, जिनमें 7 महिला कैडर भी शामिल हैं। बताया गया कि आत्मसमर्पण करने वालों में से 13 पर कुल ₹64 लाख का इनाम घोषित था और अब सरैंडर करने के बाद सरकार की नीति के तहत उन्हें सहायता राशि दी गई।
