जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तराखंड के पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में तेंदुओं के बढ़ते खतरे के बीच वन विभाग ने इंसानों के लिए खतरा बन चुके तेंदुओं को रेस्क्यू कर हरिद्वार के चिड़ियापुर रेस्क्यू सेंटर में रखा है। वन विभाग के अनुसार यहां फिलहाल 21 तेंदुओं की देखभाल की जा रही है, जिनमें कुछ नरभक्षी और घायल तेंदुए भी शामिल हैं।

According to information, amid the rising threat of leopards in Uttarakhand’s hilly regions, the Forest Department has rescued leopards that had become a danger to humans and kept them at the Chidiyapur rescue centre in Haridwar. 21 leopards are currently being cared for there, including some declared man-eaters and injured leopards.
