जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तराखंड में नरेंद्र नगर के राजमहल में भगवान बद्री विशाल के अभिषेक के लिए तिलों का तेल तैयार करने की सदियों पुरानी परंपरा विधिविधान के साथ शुरू हो गई है। बताया गया कि इस अनुष्ठान में बड़ी संख्या में महिलाओं ने व्रत रखकर भाग लिया और इस अवसर पर टिहरी की सांसद महारानी राज्य लक्ष्मी शाह भी मौजूद रहीं।

A large number of women observed fasts & participated in the ceremony, and on this occasion, Tehri MP Maharani Rajya Lakshmi Shah was also present.
