दिनांक 19 अगस्त 2022 को बादल फटने के कारण ग्राम ग्वाड में रहने वाले 2 परिवार के मकान पूरी तरह से छतिग्रस्त हो गए थे। इसमें रहने वाले कुल 7 लोग  बाढ़ में दब गए थे, जिसमें से दो लोगों के मृत शरीर घटना स्थल पर ही मिले। टिहरी पुलिस और एसडीआरएफ द्वारा बीते दिन भी 5 किलोमीटर पगडंडी के रास्ते पैदल पहुँचकर ग्राम सिल्ला में सर्च अभियान चलाया। टिहरी पुलिस द्वारा लगातार सर्च अभियान चलाया जा रहा है व पीड़ितों की हर सम्भव मदद की जा रही है।

On August 19, 2022, due to a cloudburst, the houses of two families living in the village of Guad were completely damaged. A total of 7 people living in it were buried in the flood, out of which the dead bodies of two people were found on the spot itself. The Tehri Police and SDRF carried out a search operation in the village of Silla by reaching on foot by way of 5-kilometer footpath on the previous day. A continuous search operation is being conducted by the Tehri Police.
