हेमकुण्ड यात्रा पर आए निवासी अमृतसर जिनकी अचानक घांघरिया में स्वास्थ्य काफी खराब हो गया इस पर पुलिस द्वारा स्थानीय व नेपाली व्यक्तियों की सहायता से घांघरिया अस्पताल लाया गया। जहां डॉक्टर द्वारा अमन सिंह को रेफर किया गया तब एसडीआरएफ द्वारा तत्काल पालकी की व्यवस्था कर उन्हें पालकी के सहारे घांघरिया से गोविन्द घाट भिजवाया गया।
