ऋषिकेश में पशुलोक बैराज जलाशय में बने चैनल पर 70 वर्षीय बुजुर्ग फंस गए थे। सूचना पर एसडीआरएफ द्वारा त्वरित कार्यवाही करते हुए तत्काल बैराज में उतरकर उनको चैनल से रेस्क्यू किया गया। चूंकि उन्हें काफी चोट आई हुई थी व रक्तस्राव भी हो रहा था, अतः टीम द्वारा बिना वक़्त गवाए उन्हें तुरन्त एसडीआरएफ वाहन से  एम्स अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया।

In Rishikesh, a 70-year-old man was trapped in a channel built in the Pashulok barrage reservoir. Taking prompt action by the SDRF on the information, he was immediately rescued from the channel by landing in the barrage. Since he was badly injured and bleeding too, the team immediately rushed him to AIIMS hospital in their SDRF vehicle without wasting any time.
