उत्तरकाशी के मणिकर्णिका घाट के पास एक हिरण का बच्चा भागीरथी की तेज लहरों के चपेट में आने से बहते हुए नदी के बीच बने टापू पर फंस गया था। एसडीआरएफ की रेस्क्यू टीम द्वारा मोटरबोट और क्याक के माध्यम से टापू तक पहुंचा गया और जाल की सहायता से हिरण के बच्चे को डूबने से बचाया गया और सुरक्षित किनारे लाया गया।

Near Manikarnika Ghat in Uttarkashi, a deer was trapped on an island built in the middle of a flowing river after being hit by the strong waves of Bhagirathi. The rescue team of SDRF reached the island by motorboat and kayak and with the help of net, the deer cub was saved from drowning and brought to a safe shore.
