इसमें कलाकार एक जगह एकत्रित होकर उमंग व तरंग से भरे होली के पारंपरिक गीत गाते हैं। इन कलाकारों को होलीयार कहते हैं। ये लोकगीत कुमाऊंनी अथवा हिन्दी भाषा में गाए जाते हैं। उत्तराखंड के चम्पावत, पिथौरागढ़, अल्मोड़ा एवं नैनीताल जनपदों में बैठकी होली बहुत प्रचलित है। इनके गीतों में हारमोनियम व तबला जैसे संगीत वाद्यों का भी विशेष महत्व होता है।

In this, artists gather in a place and sing traditional Holi songs filled with excitement and wave. These artists are called Holiar. These folk songs are sung in Kumauni or Hindi language. Holi is very popular in Uttarakhand's Champavat, Pithoragarh, Almora and Nainital districts. Musical instruments like harmonium and tabla also have special importance in their songs.
