टिहरी गढ़वाल में बर्ड फ्लू संक्रमण की रोकथाम के तहत 14 अगस्त 2025 को राजकीय कुक्कुट प्रक्षेत्र छाम में पोटैशियम परमैंगनेट से सैनिटाइजेशन और चुने का छिड़काव किया गया। मुख्य पशु चिकित्साधिकारी डॉ0 डी. के. शर्मा के निर्देशन में प्री-सर्विलांस के अंतर्गत आवश्यक नमूने लिए गए, जिन्हें जांच हेतु प्रयोगशाला भेजा जाएगा।
