After U.S. President Donald Trump deployed two nuclear submarines near Russia's coast, Russian President Vladimir Putin lifted the voluntary moratorium on the deployment of intermediate and short-range missiles. Along with this, Russia also terminated the 38-year-old nuclear treaty signed with the United States in 1987.
