आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव पूरे भारतवर्ष में जोर शोर से मनाया गया। इसी बीच रुड़की के मच्छी मोहल्ले का एक वीडियो वायरल हुआ जिसमें मछली व्यापारी द्वारा मछलियों को राष्ट्रीय ध्वज से ढ़क कर तिरंगे का अपमान किया गया। सूचना मिलते ही कोतवाली रुड़की पुलिस ने तत्काल राष्ट्रीय गौरव अपमान निवारण एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज करते हुए आरोपी अभियुक्त अनवर निवासी मच्छी मौहल्ला रुड़की को गिरफ्तार कर नियमानुसार अग्रेतर वैधानिक कार्यवाही की गई।
