जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तरकाशी के उपला टखनौर क्षेत्र में ग्रामीण चारधाम मार्ग के निर्माण/चौड़ीकरण की मांग कर रहे हैं। प्रशासन के अनुसार उत्तरकाशी से भैरव घाटी होते हुए भारत-तिब्बत सीमा तक सड़क का दोबारा सर्वे हो रहा है और अब रोड पहले की तुलना में कम चौड़ी होगी, जिससे पेड़ों की कटाई भी कम होगी।

According to report, villagers in the Upla Takhnour area of Uttarkashi are demanding the construction of Char Dham route. Administration said a fresh survey is underway for the road from Uttarkashi via Bhairav Valley up to the India–Tibet border, and the road will now be narrower than earlier plans, which will also reduce tree cutting.
