Relief for auto sector, big discounts on small cars

From September 22, the implementation of GST 2.0 will bring major relief to the automobile sector. The tax on two-wheelers and cars has been reduced from 28% to 18%, and on tractors to 5%. As a result, vehicle prices will come down. Meanwhile, companies including Maruti Suzuki have announced discounts of ₹60,000 to ₹90,000 on small cars.
