रुद्रप्रयाग जिले के बसुकेदार तहसील के छेनागाड़ क्षेत्र में 28 अगस्त की रात हुई अतिवृष्टि और बादल फटने की घटना के बाद से राहत और बचाव कार्य लगातार चल रहे हैं। क्षतिग्रस्त रास्तों और भारी मलबे के कारण सर्च ऑपरेशन में कठिनाइयाँ बनी हुई हैं। फिलहाल जेसीबी मशीनों और मैनुअल खुदाई के जरिए प्रभावित इलाके में खोजबीन की जा रही है।
