Red alert for heavy rainfall in 9 districts of Uttarakhand

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rainfall in nine districts of Uttarakhand like Dehradun, Nainital, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Champawat, Pauri, and Almora. In view of the severity of the weather, the administration has urged people to remain alert and avoid unnecessary travel.
