Rain and snowfall alert issued in Uttarakhand

A western disturbance will become active in Uttarakhand from the night of October 5. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in districts including Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Dehradun from October 5 to 7, along with snowfall in areas above 4,000 meters.
