रेल मंत्रालय ने 1 जुलाई से तत्काल टिकट बुकिंग के लिए आईआरसीटीसी अकाउंट को आधार से लिंक करना अनिवार्य कर दिया है। 15 जुलाई से ओटीपी आधारित प्रमाणीकरण भी लागू होगा। एजेंट अब टिकट बुकिंग में 30 मिनट की देरी से ही शामिल हो सकेंगे। यह कदम दलालों और फर्जी बुकिंग पर नियंत्रण के लिए लिया गया है, जिससे यात्रियों को सुविधा मिलेगी।

The Railway Ministry has made it mandatory to link IRCTC accounts with Aadhaar for instant ticket booking from July 1. OTP-based authentication will also be implemented from July 15. Agents will only be allowed to book tickets after a 30-minute delay. This step aims to curb agents and fake bookings.
