Radicals oppose music and dance education in Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, the new education policy has introduced a provision to teach music & dance in schools, but radical groups are strongly opposing it. They claim it is against Islam and will corrupt children’s character. They have warned the government that if music and dance teachers are appointed, they will take to the streets in protest.
