अल्मोड़ा की वरिष्ठ समाजसेविका राधा बहन को भारत सरकार ने पद्मश्री पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया है। स्वास्थ्य खराब होने के कारण वह दिल्ली नहीं जा सकीं, इसलिए जिलाधिकारी आलोक कुमार पांडे ने कौसानी जाकर उन्हें यह सम्मान सौंपा। राधा बहन ने सरकार का आभार जताते हुए कहा कि वे जीवन के अंतिम क्षण तक समाज सेवा में जुटी रहेंगी।

Renowned social worker Radha Behen from Almora has been honored with the Padma Shri award by the Government of India. Due to health issues, she was unable to travel to Delhi, so DM Alok Kumar Pandey presented the award to her in Kausani. Expressing gratitude, Radha Behen said she will continue to serve society for as long as she can.
