जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तराखंड में राष्ट्रीय खेलों के सफल आयोजन के बाद राज्य में स्पोर्ट्स यूनिवर्सिटी की शुरुआत की तैयारी लगभग पूरी हो चुकी है। बताया जा रहा है कि शैक्षणिक सत्र 2026 से यहां पढ़ाई शुरू करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है और जल्द ही भवन निर्माण कार्य भी शुरू किया जाएगा।
