Police medal will no longer be given on rank or age, but on work

On Thursday, Shri Ashok Kumar IPS, DGP, inspected the police lines and reviewed the police work during his visit to Almora and Champawat districts. Addressing the policemen, he said that the police officers and employees who do good work will be honored, but those who do wrong will not be spared. Police medals will no longer be given on the basis of rank or age, but on the basis of work.
