प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के प्रमुख सचिव डॉ0पी के मिश्रा एवं सचिव गृह मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार श्री अजय भल्ला ने  सिलक्यारा, उत्तरकाशी में टनल रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन का जायजा लिया। इस दौरान उन्होंने ग्राफिकल प्रस्तुतीकरण एवं मैपिंग के माध्यम से टनल की भौगोलिक स्थिति को जाना। प्रमुख सचिव डॉ0पी के मिश्रा ने टनल के अंदर चल रहे रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों के साथ ही रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन में जुटे श्रमिकों, इंजीनियरों से जानकारी लेते हुए उनका हौसला बढ़ाया।

Dr. P.K. Mishra, Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Shri Ajay Bhalla, Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, took stock of the tunnel rescue operation in Silkyara, Uttarkashi. During this, he learned the geographical location of the tunnel through graphical presentation and mapping. Principal Secretary Dr. P.K. Mishra conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing rescue operation inside the tunnel. He encouraged them by taking information from the officials as well as the workers and engineers.
