पीएम मोदी ने बीते दिन वर्चुअली हरी झंडी दिखाकर वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस का देहरादून रेलवे स्टेशन से शुभारंभ किया व उत्तराखण्ड के समस्त रेल मार्गों के लिए विद्युतीकरण की सौगात भी दी। पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि दिल्ली-देहरादून के बीच चलने वाली ये ट्रेन देश की राजधानी को देवभूमि से और तेज गति से जोड़ेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि बाबा केदार के दरबार से उनके मुख से पंक्तियां निकली थी कि ये दशक उत्तराखण्ड का दशक होगा और आज यह साकार हो रहा है।

PM Modi virtually flagged off the Vande Bharat Express from Dehradun railway station on the previous day and also gave the gift of electrification for all the railway routes of Uttarakhand. PM Modi said that this train running between Delhi-Dehradun will connect the country's capital with Devbhoomi at a faster speed. He said that lines had emerged from the mouth that this decade would be the decade of Uttarakhand and today it is being realized.
