दिनांक 31.5.2022 को विश्व तम्बाकू निषेध दिवस के अवसर पर पुलिस अधीक्षक चमोली श्रीमती श्वेता चौबे महोदया द्वारा पुलिस कार्यालय गोपेश्वर में पुलिस कर्मियों को तम्बाकू का सेवन ना करने एवं अपने आस-पास के परिवेश को नशा मुक्त करने की शपथ दिलाई गई। 
पुलिस अधीक्षक महोदया के आदेशानुपालन में पुलिस लाइऩ गोपेश्वर एवं जनपद के सभी थाना/चौकियों में पुलिसकर्मियों द्वारा तम्बाकू का सेवन ना करने की शपथ ली गई।

On the occasion of World Tobacco Prohibition Day on 31.5.2022, the Superintendent of Police Chamoli Mrs. Shweta Choubey administered the oath to the police personnel not to consume tobacco and make their surroundings drug-free at Police Office Gopeshwar. In compliance with the orders of the Superintendent of Police, an oath was taken by the policemen not to consume tobacco in Police Line Gopeshwar and all the police stations/posts of the district.
