Pet dog registration mandatory in Dehradun, action for rule violations

According to information, in Dehradun, pet dog registration has been made mandatory under the Dog Policy 2025. The Municipal Corporation has warned that if a pet dog creates litter in streets or public places, strict action will be taken against the owner. Meanwhile, violators of the rules are being issued challans and notices.
