People trapped in avalanche, army and administration carrying out rescue operation

According to reports, at least six people have died in a sudden avalanche at Zoji La Pass on the Srinagar–Leh Highway, while several others are still reported missing. Several vehicles are buried under the snow, and rescue operations by the army and administration are ongoing, though bad weather is causing difficulties in the effort.
