People take to the streets in Joshimath against drugs, demand strict action

According to reports, on Friday local residents and traders in Joshimath, Chamoli, staged a strong protest against the growing trade and consumption of drugs and demanded strict action against those selling narcotics. The protesters also warned that the agitation would be intensified if concrete action is not taken within the given time.
