मूल रूप से पौड़ी जिले के किमगोडी पट्टी के ग्राम एरोली मल्ली के निवासी शशांक जोशी ने यूरोप के माल्टा मे आयोजित हुई जूनियर वर्ल्ड पावर लिफ्टिंग चैंपियनशिप में कांस्य पदक हासिल कर पूरे देश का मान वैश्विक स्तर पर बढ़ाया है। जो उत्तराखंड के लिए बेहद गर्व की बात है। शशांक की इस विशेष उपलब्धि के बाद से उन्हें बधाई देने वालों का लगातार तांता लगा हुआ है।

Shashank Joshi, originally a resident of village Aeroli Malli of Kimgodi Patti in Pauri district, has brought pride to the country at the global level by winning the bronze medal in the Junior World Power Lifting Championship held in Malta, Europe.
