पारस शर्मा वर्तमान मे चंपावत जिले के लोहाघाट क्षेत्र के सेरीगैर के निवासी है। जिन्होंने संघ लोक सेवा आयोग की ओर से आयोजित हुई एनडीए परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने के बाद भारतीय सेना द्वारा आयोजित सर्विस सिलेक्शन बोर्ड की परीक्षा को भी पास करने के पश्चात भारतीय सेना में ऑफिसर बनने का मुकाम हासिल किया है।
