Pakistan has violated the ceasefire by carrying out an airstrike in Afghanistan’s Paktika province, Arghun district. Reports say 17 civilians have been killed in the attack, including Afghan cricket players. Following the incident, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has canceled the proposed triangular series with Pakistan.
