सीएम धामी ने भीमताल के ओखल में हुई बस दुर्घटना के मृतकों के परिजनों और घायलों को राहत राशि प्रदान करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। बस दुर्घटना में मृतकों के परिजनों को ₹10 लाख की सहायता राशि दी जाएगी। इसी प्रकार गंभीर रूप से घायल व्यक्तियों को ₹3 लाख एवं सामान्य रूप से घायल व्यक्तियों को ₹15-₹25 हजार दिए जाएंगे।

बीती दोपहर में पिथौरागढ़ से हल्द्वानी की ओर आ रही एक रोडवेज बस भीमताल के पास आमडाली में गहरी खाई में गिर गई। दुर्घटना की सूचना मिलते ही एसएसपी नैनीताल प्रह्लाद मीणा द्वारा तत्काल पुलिस फोर्स को मौके पर रवाना कर रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन चलाया गया। घायलों को तुरंत उपचार के लिए सुशीला तिवारी अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया।

Last afternoon, a roadways bus coming from Pithoragarh to Haldwani fell into a deep gorge at Amdali near Bhimtal. SSP Nainital Prahlad Meena immediately dispatched the police force to the spot and started a rescue operation. The injured were immediately rushed to Sushila Tiwari Hospital for treatment.

ऋषिकेश मार्ग पर सात मोड़ के पास बस अनियंत्रित होकर दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गयी थी। बस में फंसी लड़कियों को एसडीआरएफ ने रेस्क्यू किया। बस में सवार 45 छात्राएं, बागेश्वर से स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज, रायपुर देहरादून जा रही थी। 12 छात्राएं सामान्य घायल हुई, जिन्हें अस्पताल पहुँचाया गया। बाकी छात्राओं को अन्य बस से स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज पहुँचाया गया।

The bus lost control and crashed near Saat Mor on Rishikesh road. The girls trapped in the bus were rescued by SDRF. 45 students in the bus were going from Bageshwar to Sports College, Raipur, Dehradun. 12 students were injured and were taken to the hospital. The remaining students were taken to Sports College in another bus.

आगामी 38 वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों के आयोजन के लिए मशाल (टॉर्च) अब उत्तराखण्ड के कोने-कोने में घूम घूमकर रोशनी फैलाने के लिए तैयार है। आज गुरुवार यानी 26 दिसंबर से मशाल रैली की शुरुआत हल्द्वानी से होने जा रहा है। इसके बाद सभी 13 जिलों के 99 स्थानों पर यह मशाल घूम घूमकर राष्ट्रीय खेलों के प्रति लोगों में जागरूकता फैलाएगी।
