Verification campaign conducted by Pithoragarh Police
During the checking of the tenant verification campaign being run by the Pithoragarh District Police, effective action was taken against the concerned landlord/contractor when a labourer was found living without verification. The police issued a cash challan of Rs. 5000 against the concerned contractor.
