IIT student drowns in Ganga canal in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, search underway
According to report, an IIT student in Roorkee went missing after drowning in the Ganga canal. It was stated that the student was sitting at the ghat with his friends when he suddenly slipped and fell into the canal, getting swept away by the strong current. It has been reported that his friends tried to rescue him but were unsuccessful.
