38वें राष्ट्रीय खेल के जूडो प्रतियोगिता में 63 किलोग्राम बालिका वर्ग में उत्तराखण्ड की उन्नति शर्मा ने अपने कौशल का परिचय देते हुए स्वर्ण पदक हासिल किया। मध्य प्रदेश की खिलाड़ी हिमांशी टोकस ने रजत पदक जीता। जम्मू-कश्मीर की तल्हा फयाज और मणिपुर की इरेंगबाम कल्पना देवी को कांस्य पदक मिला।

पशु पालन विभाग के सचल पशु चिकित्सालय द्वारा पशु कल्याण जागरूकता माह के अंतर्गत नैनीताल जिले के रेखालखत्ता, चोरगलिया में एक पशु चिकित्सा एवं बांझपन निवारण शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। शिविर में लगभग लगभग 40 पशुओं का इलाज कर दवाई वितरित की गई।
