Administrators may take charge again in Uttarakhand Panchayats
The state government may once again hand over the responsibilities of the three-tier panchayats to former representatives. A decision is likely in the cabinet meeting on May 28. Although the government is ready to conduct elections in July, practical challenges such as the ongoing Char Dham Yatra, tourist influx, may cause delays.
