Rakesh Rathore, a constable in Uttarakhand Police, was coming from Haridwar to Dehradun on a motorcycle on the intervening night of the 26th and 27th. Meanwhile, his motorcycle collided with a divider in the middle of the road at around 2.30 am in front of SBI Bank in Harrawala. On information, the police rushed the injured to the hospital where the doctor declared him brought dead.
