The incident is on June 26 when both the attackers along with their families came to visit Haridwar from Muzaffarnagar and stayed at the Juna Akhara building. Due to being intoxicated, the building manager and Baba made them vacate the room during the night itself. To avenge the same thing, both of them attacked Baba with a baseball stick and seriously injured him. After checking the CCTV cameras installed in and around the spot by the police team, accused Deepak and Rahul, residents of Biralsi Muzaffarnagar, were arrested with baseball sticks.
