On the previous day, Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu took a meeting regarding the development of the Manaskhand corridor

CS directed all the District Magistrates of Kumaon to visit the areas to develop important temples and prepare a plan. The Chief Secretary said that while dividing all the temples into categories, the most important in A category, very high potential from the point of view of tourism in B and other temples and tourist places in C category should be included in which work is to be done in future.
