Bullet Train to run between Surat and Bilimora by 2027
The bullet train project between Surat and Bilimora is progressing rapidly. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that the 50 km section will be operational by 2027, while the full Mumbai-Ahmedabad route will start by 2029. Once completed, the bullet train will cover the Mumbai-Ahmedabad distance in just 2 hours and 7 minutes.
