दीपावली के पर्व पर पुलिस अधीक्षक उत्तरकाशी, श्री अर्पण यदुवंशी द्वारा उत्तरकाशी बाजार का भ्रमण कर शान्ति एवं सुरक्षा व्यवस्था का जायजा लिया गया। त्योहारों में अपने घर-परिवार से दूर रहकर कर्तव्यों का बखूबी निर्वहन करने पर सभी जवानों की सराहना की गयी। इस दौरान उनके द्वारा जवानों को मिष्ठान वितरित कर दीपावली के पावन पर्व की शुभकामनायें दी गयी।

गुजरात से श्री केदारनाथ धाम यात्रा पर आये श्रद्धालु मितुल जी का बैग भीमबली में छूट गया था, जिसमें ₹ 12000 कैश और उनके पिताजी की दवाईयां थीं। भीमबली चौकी पर नियुक्त उत्तराखण्ड पुलिस कांस्टेबल रामनारायण ध्यानी ने उन्हें बुलाकर बैग सकुशल लौटाया।

The bag of Mitul Ji, a devotee who had come from Gujarat to Shri Kedarnath Dham Yatra, was left in Bhimbali, containing ₹ 12000 cash and his father's medicines. Uttarakhand Police Constable Ramnarayan Dhyani, posted at Bhimbali outpost, called him and returned the bag safely.

बीते दिन ‘पुलिस स्मृति दिवस’ के अवसर पर श्री सुबोध उनियाल, माननीय मंत्री जी की उपस्थिति में देहरादून पुलिस लाइन स्थित शहीद स्मारक में श्रृद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्य अतिथि महोदय एवं श्री अशोक कुमार, आईपीएस, डीजीपी महोदय सहित उपस्थित गणमान्य महानुभावों एवं वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारियों द्वारा शहीद हुए पुलिसकर्मियों को याद कर उन्हें भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की गयी।

On the occasion of 'Police Commemoration Day', a tribute program was organized in the presence of Shri Subodh Uniyal, Hon'ble Minister at the Martyrs Memorial located at Dehradun Police Lines.
