राज्यपाल गुरमीत सिंह (ले.जन.) से राजभवन में बुधवार को राष्ट्रीय कृषि एवं ग्रामीण विकास संस्थान (नाबार्ड), उत्तराखंड के मुख्य महाप्रबंधक विनोद कुमार बिष्ट और प्रबंधन निदेशक डॉ सुमन कुमार ने शिष्टाचार मुलाकात की। इस दौरान उन्होंने राज्यपाल को नाबार्ड की गतिविधियों और क्रिया कलापों की जानकारी दी। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि नाबार्ड को ग्रामीण समृद्धि का आधार बनाने का प्रयास किया जाए।

जनपद अल्मोड़ा स्थित ग्राम-निगराली में दुग्ध समिति/मार्ग पशु चिकित्सा शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। उक्त शिविर में कुल 47 पशुओं की निःशुल्क दवाई वितरित कर चिकित्सा की गयी व 25 पशुपालक लाभान्वित हुए।
